Bells and Ringing

We are very fortunate at Ratby Church to have 8 bells in our tower - please see the pictures below of our bells and the ringing chamber with information about the bells in the table opposite.

We have ringing practice on a Friday evening from 7.30-9 on a Friday evening.
​
We ring on a Sunday morning from 9.20 for the 10am service.
​
We occasionally have other specific ringing practices and welcome anyone who wishes to learn to ring.

The 8 bells in the belfry - as seen from the top of the picture and left to right they are:-
2 and 3
1 and 4
8 and 5
7 and 6
The picture on the left shows the ringing chamber with the ropes [the green/red/white fluffy bits are the sallies] which allow us to ring the 8 bells in the belfry
